|Already since the early years at the Rotterdam School of Management, Reinoud had a particular interest for the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility resulting in a traineeship and thesis in this field.
In 2007 Reinoud got the opportunity for a Weleda franchising company to roll out their organic body and skin care products in South Africa.
In SA Reinoud saw a direct need and market for CSR 2.0 and social entrepreneurship. Many SA companies are in one way or the other involved with Corporate Social Investment, or social cause-related activities. But they do not implement CSR in their core strategy and values.
